Often, we place an order for you after research and phone calls and digging into manufacturers price books and electrical diagrams and such. ACR thinks this research and solution service is a key part of our value that you rely on for your business. We’re so passionate about this, we consider it and our people to be what differentiate us from our competition. These special order goods, in most cases, come to our sales offices, we then call you to let you know they are ready for pick up, you come to pick up parts. That makes at least 1 trip, and probably 2 or more trips to complete this transaction with the research, discussion and fulfillment of the order. What if we could reduce that by 1 trip, how many more jobs could you complete in a week’s time? What is that trip worth to you or your company? That is something only you know. Regardless of your system for placing and picking up order we can, on a job by job basis, work to make more profit for you by managing the schedule for delivery of your special order items. If you will tell us a delivery address, dock, home address or property management office, we can ship there for the same cost as shipping to an ACR facility. We currently have customers taking advantage of this option and they enjoy email notices of delivery for the special order parts, fewer unscheduled trips to the supply house and the ability to adjust their schedules daily with parts received and available.
To serve you in this way, we would need a ship to address a phone number or email contact in case a call needs to be made for delivery or signatures to be captured. Finally, we need a target date for delivery. Need to put the repair off for a week, we can work with that. Need it in 2 days, we can do that too if the products are available. Want the packing list not to contain pricing, sure thing, that’s called blind pricing, we can do that! Want to order a job for next month and need to lock in pricing and profits on parts and don’t want them at your shop or getting rained on sitting on a muddy job site, let’s roll, that’s what we do best. We’re in the service business and we want to serve you. This is just another way procurement can join forces work with you and your sales team to help complete a job more profitably.
